Sennelier Artists Oil Paint Baryte Green
Originally made in Paris by Gustave Sennelier in 1887, the pigments in these oil paints are ground very slowly to ensure that the colour is extra fine. The pigment is then bound with safflower oil to make oil colour. sennelier's oil paints were used by Cezanne, Monet, Gaugin, Matisse, Picasso, bonnard, Chagall, Ernst and David Hockney. Many of the most famous paintings hanging in museums all over the world were painted with these very oil paints.
These paints are grouped in series, according to the pigment prices.
