Aluminium Leaf
Suitable for oil gilding as a substitute for silver.
This leaf is much easier to handle than pure gold or white gold. It is thicker and can be cut and even can be picked up by hand without disintergrating in front of your eyes..
The leaf is thicker than white gold and does not have the transparency and depth that makes real white gold so attractive. It can however be distressed and antiqued with button polish to a very acceptable finish.
